If you want to book our guardian service, you need to pay and book it 2 months before the application deadline, just in case your application fails because of failed to submit application documents on time.

*2. Non-criminal record report

The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months before the submission date of the application.

If the validity of the applicant’s current passport does not meet the requirement (meaning the passport expires before September), please apply for a new passport before submitting the application.

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant

*7. Scan of notarized copy of the academic transcripts

Applicants who will not graduate before the application deadline must provide their current academic transcript. In this case, the completed academic transcripts must be submitted before registration.

*8. Scanned Copy of Highest Diploma

Scan copy of Pre-graduation Certificate is required if the applicant has not gained degree certificate before the application deadline. Once admitted, students are required to present their original Bachelor Degree Certificate with the Degree Authentication Document upon registration for enrollment qualification review. Students who fail the enrollment qualification review will be disqualified from enrollment.

*9. Recommendation letters

Two letters of recommendation (written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors shall be submitted. These letters shall describe the applicant’s objectives of learning in China, comprehensive abilities, and evaluation of future growth, as well as the cooperation between the supervisors or the exchange between universities both in China and abroad.

*10. A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy shall be kept by the applicant).

The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take a physical examination, as the result is valid for only 6 months.

*11. English proficiency test certificate

For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.

*12. Acceptance Letter from CPU Supervisor is a must.

*13. A study plan proposal

A study plan written in Chinese or English shall contain more than 1,000 characters or words.

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
